Biography
Tiffany Price
Tiffany Price is a Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives representing District 26, which covers south Kansas City in Jackson County. She was elected in 2024, assumed office on January 8, 2025, and serves a two-year term.
Tiffany Price is a Kansas City native and mother of four sons: Bryan, Phillip, Preston, and Karter. She is the founder and executive director of the non-profit Hold Em Up 4 Care, which provides clothing, mentorship, and support for underserved youth, serving over 3,000 youths to date. Her priorities include expanding mental health access, protecting reproductive rights, common-sense gun legislation to reduce violence, improving education, and anti-discrimination protections in housing and employment. She has endorsements from the Kansas City chapter of Moms Demand Action and advocates for violence interruption, job programs, and affordable housing.
Education and Political Experience
Price graduated from Southeast High School in 1999 and earned an associate of arts degree from MCCKC-Longview. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in social work at the University of Central Missouri. This is her first elected office; previously, she engaged in advocacy with organizations like Quality Schools Coalition, PLTI-KC, NPLI, and APHSA, focusing on community building and equitable healthcare.
