Biography

Tiara Auxier is a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 4 since January 2025. The district includes parts of Morgan County, Summit County, and all of Rich County. She won a special election to replace incumbent Kera Birkeland, securing the nomination at the convention on January 11, 2025. Auxier is a devoted wife and mother, deeply proud of her Utah roots, with a lifelong passion for history, government, and conservative values. She emphasizes fiscal responsibility, local control in voting, agriculture, and zoning, border protection, and education focused on core values rather than indoctrination. Notable achievements in her first term include sponsoring HB 110, a property tax relief bill that halted a $200 million automatic tax increase, and HB 312, which enhances civics education by referencing historically influential texts like the Bible without mandating religious instruction. She criticizes developer bypasses of county zoning and plans to reintroduce HB 510 in 2027 for more local control and transparency in land use.
