Biography
Thomas Harold Massie is an American politician and engineer serving as a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives for Kentucky's 4th congressional district since November 2012. The district covers Northern Kentucky, including the Kentucky side of the Cincinnati area, Louisville's eastern suburbs, and 261 miles along the Ohio River. Prior to Congress, he served as Lewis County Judge Executive and lives on a cattle farm in Kentucky with his wife Rhonda and their four children. Notable achievements include founding SensAble Technologies, Inc., which raised over $32 million in venture capital, created 70 jobs, secured 29 patents, and developed touch-enabled computer interaction technology used in designing automobiles, jewelry, dental prosthetics, and reconstructive implants. In Congress, he serves on the House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure and the House Judiciary Committee .
