Biography
Thomas E. Brinkman Jr. is a Republican politician from Ohio who represented Cincinnati in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2001 to 2008 and again from 2015 to 2022, primarily in the 27th District. He is married to Cathy and has six children. Notable achievements include founding the Coalition Opposed to Additional Spending and Taxes in 1999 to oppose tax levies in southwestern Ohio, and his consistent opposition to higher taxes and public spending. In 2014, he defeated incumbent Peter Stautberg in the Republican primary and won the general election with 67.78% of the vote. He ran for Hamilton County Auditor in 2022.
