Senator Terry M. Wanzek
Terry M. Wanzek is a Republican state senator representing District 29 in North Dakota, which includes Jamestown. Born on March 28, 1957, Wanzek is a farmer, rancher, and businessman with deep roots in North Dakota's agricultural community. He is married to Janice and has three children and seven grandchildren. A practicing Catholic, Wanzek has been actively involved in his community through various civic and agricultural organizations.

Wanzek earned a Cum Laude Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Jamestown and completed the Texas A&M TEPAP program, which has equipped him with advanced knowledge in agricultural business management and policy.
