Terry M. Stier is a Republican representative for Minnesota House District 22B, serving Blue Earth, Le Sueur, Rice, and Scott counties. Born July 25, 1978, in Minneapolis, he is a law enforcement professional with over 20 years at the Belle Plaine Police Department, becoming Chief of Police in 2020. He resides in Belle Plaine with his wife Pilar and four children.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: A.S. in law enforcement from Normandale Community College; certification in law enforcement from Metropolitan State University.
• Political Experience: Elected to the Minnesota House in 2024 . Serves on committees including Judiciary Finance and Civil Law, Public Safety Finance and Policy, Rules and Legislative Administration, and Legislative Commission on Pensions and Retirement.
