Biography

Senator Terence Everitt is a Democrat representing District 18 in the North Carolina State Senate. He is a father, husband, small business owner, and attorney with his own law practice in Wake Forest, where he assists small businesses in legal matters and development. He lives in Wake Forest with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children. Previously, he served in the North Carolina House of Representatives for District 35 for three terms before transitioning to the Senate, where he has completed one term as of the 2025-2026 session. Notable positions include protecting abortion rights, supporting public schools, improving public safety, and ensuring economic opportunities for families.
