Biography
Theodore Paul Budd, born on October 21, 1971, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is a Republican politician serving as the junior United States Senator for North Carolina since January 3, 2023. Raised on a cattle and commercial chicken farm in Davie County, he developed a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. Budd met his wife, Amy Kate, during a Christian mission trip to the former Soviet Union in 1991; they married in 1994 and have three children. The family resides on the same farm where Budd was raised.
