Taylor Michael Yarkosky is a Republican representing Florida House District 25 . He was first elected in 2022, defeating Liz Cornell, Matthew Silbernagel, and Tom Vail in the Republican primary and Banks Helfrich in the general election with 66% of the vote; he has been reelected since. A business owner and contractor, he moved to Florida in 1999, has lived in Lake County since 2004, and is married to Courtney Yarkosky with five children: Lauren, Kyle, Karsyn, Madelyn, and Mallory. Notable achievements include creating hundreds of jobs as an entrepreneur, retaining employees during COVID-19 via PPP, serving as a licensed firearms instructor and NRA member training law enforcement, and election in December 2024 as Chair of the Lake County Republican Executive Committee for a two-year term. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1999 and identifies as Catholic.
