Tara L. Lujan is a Democratic member of the U.S. House, representing New Mexico's 3rd Congressional District. Lujan was elected to the New Mexico House in 1994 and served until 2001. She worked as a professional staffer for the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources. In 2020, she won the Democratic primary for New Mexico's 3rd Congressional District. Lujan easily won the general election and was sworn into the 117th Congress in January 2021.read less
