Tanya Felecia Miller was born on October 3, 1973, and is an accomplished trial lawyer and politician from Georgia. She represents District 62, which includes portions of Grant Park, Lakewood Heights, College Park, South Fulton, and East Point. Miller resides in Grant Park with her daughter.

She is recognized as a nationally prominent legal analyst and commentator, having appeared regularly on major networks including MSNBC, CNN, Court TV, and local Atlanta stations. She gained national attention during the George Zimmerman trial for her candid and insightful legal commentary. In 2024, she received the honor of induction into the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Political Experience

Miller was sworn in as a State Representative in January 2023 and was elected Democratic Caucus Chair in 2025. She is currently pursuing a run for Georgia Attorney General as a Democrat.
