Biography
T.J. Roberts is a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives representing District 66, which encompasses much of Boone County. A libertarian-leaning constitutional conservative and attorney, he assumed office on January 1, 2025, after winning the 2024 election at age 26 with 70.4% of the vote. Notable achievements include successfully suing Governor Andy Beshear over COVID-19 lockdown policies, leading efforts to nullify gun control in Boone County, sponsoring House Bill 2 to eliminate sales tax on gold and silver, and serving as one of five managers in the 2026 impeachment trial of Judge Julie Goodman. He announced his reelection bid in May 2025 and has endorsements from figures like Thomas Massie, Ron Paul, and Vivek Ramaswamy. As of March 2025, he had sponsored 36 bills and two resolutions.
