Representative T.J. Brown

Timothy "T.J." Brown Jr. is a Republican member of the North Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 27 based in Fargo. Born and raised in North Dakota, Brown developed a strong commitment to public service early in life. He is married with three children and maintains deep roots in his community.

Brown's background reflects a diverse career path rooted in service. He enlisted in the United States Army, where he served honorably as a medic. His military experience instilled in him a deep sense of duty, discipline, and compassion. Following his military service, he transitioned to law enforcement, serving as a police officer in West Fargo, where he gained firsthand insight into the challenges faced by both law enforcement personnel and the citizens they serve.

Political Experience

Brown assumed office in the North Dakota House of Representatives on March 12, 2025, following his unanimous election by District 27 Republicans to fill the seat vacated by the late Representative Josh Christy. His current term will end on December 1, 2026.

• House Committee on Judiciary

He is the owner of The Range, a virtual shooting range and training center located in Fargo, which offers a safe and educational environment for individuals to learn about firearm safety and improve their shooting skills. Additionally, he operates Tea Party Solutions, a firearms training company and podcast that provides education and resources on Second Amendment rights and responsible gun ownership.
