Suhas Subramanyam is a Democratic U.S. Representative for Virginia's 10th Congressional District, which includes all of Loudoun and Fauquier counties and parts of Rappahannock, Prince William, and Fairfax counties. Notable achievements include being Virginia's first Indian-American congressman, passing bipartisan legislation to lower tolls, utility bills, prescription drug costs, and improve education and gun safety, and serving as a White House technology policy advisor to President Obama.

Born on September 26, 1986, Suhas Subramanyam is an American politician, attorney, and the first South Asian American and Hindu elected to the Virginia General Assembly in 2019. His family immigrated from India, with his mother from Bengaluru arriving in Virginia in 1979 to join his father from Chennai and Secunderabad. He was elected to the U.S. House in 2024, defeating Republican Mike Clancy with 62% of the vote, and sworn in on January 3, 2025, succeeding Jennifer Wexton. Previously, he served in the Virginia House of Delegates and Virginia Senate . A volunteer firefighter with the Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, he co-founded the bipartisan Commonwealth Caucus and has worked as counsel for tech firms and startups.
