Sue Lee Loy is a Democratic member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, representing District 2 since 2024. She previously served on the Hawaii County Council from 2016 to 2024 and brings over 25 years of experience in land use development, environmental permits, and community planning.

Susan Lokelani Keohokapu-Lee Loy was born on Oahu to David Keohokapu, a longshoreman, and Patricia, a nurse; her family moved to the Big Island in 1974, where she was raised in Hilo. Known for her honest, industrious, and caring approach, she has earned respect through decades of community work, including eight years on the Hawaii County Council advocating for Hawaii Island residents. As a Native Hawaiian representative, she serves in the 2025-2026 term.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Graduated from Waiākea High School , attended Hawaiʻi Community College, and studied at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo.
