By Amending Section 16-23-20, Relating To Unlawful Carrying Of Handguns, So As To Revise The Places Where And Circumstances Upon Which Handguns And Firearms May Be Carried, And Persons Who May Carry Handguns And Firearms; Stewart O. Jones is a Libertarian candidate running for election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of North Carolina. Jones was born in 1946, in Princeton, West Virginia. He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Concord University. His political career includes being Senior Fellow at the John Locke Foundation. Jones is running on a platform of promoting economic growth and fiscal responsibility, reforming healthcare, protecting civil liberties, and avoiding foreign military interventions.
