Steve Yeager is a Democratic Assembly Member representing District 9 in the Nevada Assembly, covering parts of southwestern Las Vegas Valley in Clark County. Born October 13, 1978, in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, he has served since 2016, currently as Speaker of the Nevada Assembly . Notable achievements include chairing the Assembly Judiciary Committee since 2017, serving as Speaker Pro Tem since 2019, advocating for paid sick leave, minimum wage increases, voting access, women's reproductive rights, clean energy, and criminal justice reform, and receiving the Right to Start 2024 Entrepreneur's Champion Award. He practices as a partner at Battle Born Injury Lawyers, specializing in personal injury.
