Biography

Steve Weir is a Republican member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing the 55th district, which includes Andover, Bolton, Glastonbury, Hebron, and Marlborough. Elected in November 2022, he began serving in January 2023 and has completed one term with a 100% voting record and full attendance in committee assignments. A restoration contractor and small business owner, Weir founded American Integrity Restoration , where he serves as a business development manager and former CEO. He is a former police officer, lives in Hebron with his wife Allegra and three daughters , and is active in community service, including as chairman of the CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce, a board member of the Connecticut Apartment Association, and a volunteer for local charities. Weir supports equal protection under law, public safety, free markets, limiting government intrusion, and protecting individual and property rights.
