Steve Rhoads is a Republican/Conservative representing the 5th Senate District in New York, which covers South Shore towns including Bellmore, Merrick, Wantagh, and Seaford, along with parts of Bethpage, Levittown, Hicksville, and East Meadow. He was first elected to the State Senate in 2022. A lifelong public safety advocate and attorney, Rhoads has served as a Wantagh volunteer firefighter for over 30 years.
