Steve O'Ban is a Republican politician and attorney born on July 12, 1961, in California. He represented Washington's 28th Legislative District in Pierce County as a member of the Washington State Senate from 2013 to 2021. Appointed to the Senate on June 4, 2013, following the death of Senator Mike Carrell, he lost the seat to Democrat T'wina Nobles in the November 2020 election, which was the second costliest state Senate race in Washington history with over $1.7 million spent by the candidates.
