Biography
Steve Fenberg is a Democratic politician who represented Colorado Senate District 18 from 2017 until term-limited. Born January 2, 1984, in Toledo, Ohio, he rose quickly to become Senate Majority Leader in 2018 and Senate President from 2022 to 2024. Notable achievements include leading reforms to oil and gas regulations, advancing renewable energy and carbon reduction goals, expanding election access, increasing funding for education and public lands, and passing major transportation and climate legislation. Post-legislature, he serves as a public affairs consultant, co-owns Bread Bar in Silver Plume, and was appointed to the Colorado School of Mines Board of Trustees in 2026.

- Political Experience: Founded New Era Colorado in 2006 with Leslie Herod and Joe Neguse, serving as executive director for a decade and registering over 150,000 young voters.
