Biography
Stephenie Scialabba is a Republican representative for Pennsylvania's 12th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, serving parts of Butler County including Adams, Cranberry, and Jackson townships, and boroughs such as Callery, Evans City, Harmony, Mars, Seven Fields, Valencia, and Zelienople. She was sworn into office on January 3, 2023, after winning her election, and focused her prior career on data privacy, cybersecurity, and health care law as an attorney with Eckert Seamans in Pittsburgh.
A lifelong resident of Western Pennsylvania, born in 1991, Scialabba is a wife, mother to son Teddy, and community volunteer. She supports organizations like Treasures for Children , Tunnels to Towers, Wounded Warrior Project, and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra through roles such as chair of Law Night and co-chair of Young Professionals Club. Recognized as an emerging community leader by the Pittsburgh Business Times, her legislative priorities include promoting economic growth, supporting small businesses and domestic energy, reducing regulations, expanding parental rights in education and medicine, defending constitutional rights, lowering taxes, and aiding veterans, first responders, law enforcement, young families, and the elderly. She also advocates for data privacy rights for Pennsylvanians and issues like election integrity, property tax reform, local control, infrastructure, and natural resources.
Education and Political Experience
- Graduated from Bishop McCort High School in 2009.
- Earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees with highest honors in political science and history from the University of Pittsburgh.
- Completed Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law as a Truxall Scholar, serving as Senior Managing Editor of the Law Review and Teaching Assistant for Legal Research and Writing.
- Served as a judicial law clerk for the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
- Announced candidacy for the 12th District in 2022 as a Republican; elected and sworn in as state representative in 2023.
