Stephanie Sawyer Clayton is a Democrat representing District 19 in the Kansas House of Representatives, serving since 2013. She currently holds the position of House Minority Whip and serves as Chair of the Johnson County Legislative Delegation. Notable achievements include leadership in the Bipartisan Women's Caucus, serving as Vice President of the National Council of State Legislatures Women's Legislative Network, and membership in the National Council of State Legislatures Budget and Revenue Committee and Legislative Effectiveness Committee. She resides in Overland Park, Kansas, with her husband Ben and two children, Stella and Eli.
