Biography
Stephanie Luck is a Republican member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing House District 60, which covers Chaffee, Custer, Fremont, and Teller counties, as well as part of Pueblo County, including communities like Cañon City, Pueblo West, Woodland Park, Lincoln Park, and Florence. First elected in 2020 after defeating Democratic incumbent Bri Buentello with 54.09% of the vote, she won re-election in 2022 , and in 2024 after running unopposed in the Republican primary. From Penrose, Colorado, Luck is a constitutionalist with experience living abroad for seven years, emphasizing good governance, rule of law, valuing life, and honoring families. Notable positions include service on the State, Civic, Military, & Veterans Affairs Committee and Appropriations. She has sponsored legislation on issues like abortion data reporting and attended events questioning the 2020 election.
Education and Political Experience
Luck has a background in business, law, and education, including teaching sixth grade at a charter school, serving as president of the Penrose Chamber of Commerce, and as a board member for Fremont County Communities that Care. She is an out-of-state licensed attorney with over a decade in public policy, assisting in legislation drafting, providing testimony, strategic planning, and managing non-profit and for-profit entities, policies, procedures, and budgets. Elected to the former House District 47 prior to 2023 reapportionment , she now serves District 60.
