Stephanie A. Kifowit is a Democratic State Representative for Illinois' 84th District, which includes Aurora, Oswego, Naperville, and Montgomery. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran , she has served since 2013, focusing on fiscal responsibility, balanced budgets, veteran support, property tax relief, and services for children, the disabled, and the elderly. Notable achievements include leading efforts for a balanced state budget annually, passing legislation to lower veteran suicide rates, addressing the Tier 2 pension crisis, and chairing key committees like Personnel & Pensions and Veterans' Affairs. She previously served as Aurora's Third Ward Alderman , where she advanced park investments, street repairs, and safe sidewalks.
