• Education: Graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008.
• Political Experience: Worked with former Governor Rick Perry for over a decade, including as director of scheduling for Perry's PAC and 2016 presidential campaign staff; served as Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy , leading efforts on energy independence, national lab visits, and promoting U.S. energy abroad. In his first legislative session , passed the largest property tax cut in Texas history , secured $5.1 billion for border security, increased rural law enforcement funding, and helped create the Texas Water Fund.
