Stacey Travers is a Democratic representative for Arizona House District 12 . She is a United States Army veteran who served as a Russian intelligence interceptor/analyst in electronic warfare, a scientist with expertise in geosciences, a mother of two daughters, and an advocate for veterans' issues, including fighting corruption and fraud affecting homeless and disabled veterans at the Pacific Branch of the National Home for Disabled Veteran Soldiers.

Born in Athens, Greece, to a U.S. military father and Greek mother from a family with a history of military service, she moved to Arizona after her military career, fell in love with the state, and chose it to raise her family. She is married to John, a small business owner, and previously worked as a radio producer for the BBC in London.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Earned a B.S. in Geosciences from the University of Arizona in Tucson; pursued postgraduate studies at Oxford University in England.
• Political Experience: Elected to the Arizona House of Representatives for LD12; currently running for re-election. As a new member, she has highlighted her diverse background in science, military service, and advocacy to address state issues and support Arizona families.
