Biography
Soo Hong is a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 103, which includes parts of Gwinnett County and southern Hall County.
Soo Hong is an American politician, lawyer, and the first woman of Korean descent to serve in the Georgia House of Representatives. A native of Marietta, she immigrated as a child and credits Georgia's teachers and community for her success. She owns her law practice in Gwinnett and Cobb counties, assisting individuals and families in need, and is a partner at Blevins & Hong. Hong first ran for the Georgia House in 2020 , losing narrowly, but won District 103 in 2022 after redistricting and was re-elected in 2024. Notable achievements include serving as Floor Leader for Governor Brian Kemp in 2023, sponsoring bipartisan HB 128 to support women-, minority-, and veteran-owned businesses, and leading efforts against gang violence and human trafficking.
