Skyler Rude is a Republican state representative for Washington's 16th Legislative District, which includes all of Walla Walla and Columbia counties, and parts of Benton and Franklin counties. Born in 1986 and raised in Walla Walla, he has dedicated his career to community service, previously working as a REALTOR® and now running a local stagecoach tour business in the Walla Walla Valley. Sworn in as representative in 2019, he emphasizes bipartisanship and collaboration in the legislature.

Skyler was born, raised, and educated in Walla Walla. Prior to election, he served since 2015 as legislative assistant to 16th District Senator Maureen Walsh, gaining expertise in the legislative process and district issues.
