Biography
Sherri Gay Brantley is a Republican representative for Kansas House District 112, which includes areas like Hoisington and Great Bend in Barton County. A Barton County native born in June 1966 and residing in Great Bend, she is a longtime educator with a 32-year teaching career spanning Oklahoma, Great Bend, and Fort Hays State University; she currently serves as a math specialist for Kansas MTSS and Alignment. She is a mother of three grown children and four grandchildren, a member of Heartland Community Church, and involved in community groups including the Barton County 4-H Holding Board and various mathematics education associations. Prior to election, she served as a Republican Precinct Committeewoman for Eureka Township. Notable positions include membership on the House Committee on Legislative Modernization.
