Representative Shelby Labs

Shelby E. Labs is a Republican State Representative serving the 143rd Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, which encompasses portions of Bucks County. She was born and raised in Plumsteadville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Labs comes from a family with deep roots in the community, with more than 200 years of history in Plumstead Township. Her family has a background in running small businesses and farms while volunteering and serving Central and Upper Bucks County. She took the oath of office to begin her first term on January 5, 2021.

Her top legislative priorities include helping small businesses, protecting open space, and supporting veterans and military members.

Education

Labs graduated from Central Bucks High School West and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Temple University.

Political Experience

Labs was elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2021 and 2023 terms. For the 2025-2026 Legislative Session, she has been appointed to serve on five House Committees:

• Human Services Committee
• Commerce
• Aging and Older Adult Services
• Game and Fisheries
• Transportation

Her district office is located at 1032 North Easton Road in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
