Sheila A. Lyman is a Republican state representative serving House District 76 in Maine, which includes Livermore Falls, Jay, and parts of Livermore in Androscoggin County. A retired elementary school teacher with 36 years of experience, she was first elected in November 2020 and is currently in her third term . She serves as Ranking Member of the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee and has sponsored notable bills, including one requiring public schools to use the name and gender from a child's birth certificate and a "988 suicide hotline bill."
