Shaw Blackmon is a Republican representative for Georgia House District 146, based in Houston County, including areas like Warner Robins and Bonaire. Born Zell Shaw Blackmon III on May 27, 1973, he was raised in Houston County with his brother Brad and sister Kayce. He resides in Warner Robins with his wife Whitney, son Cort, and stepson Ges, and they are members of Central Baptist Church. Blackmon owns and leads National Bank Products, a family-founded small business in sales, management, and operations. Notable achievements include serving as Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee, Ex-Officio on Appropriations and MARTOC, and roles on committees like Governmental Affairs, Insurance, Rules, Rural Development, Technology and Infrastructure Innovation, and Special Committee on Resource Management. He previously chaired the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2012, secured funding for the Veteran’s Training Center and Health Science facility at Central Georgia Technical College, and serves on the Technical College System of Georgia State Board to improve education transferability and dual-enrollment.
