Biography
Shannon Maness is a Republican representative for Montana House District 70, elected in the 2024 election and serving since the 2025 legislative session. A 48-year-old father of two from Dillon in Beaverhead County, he and his wife Krista chose to settle in Montana after visiting for hunting and friendships. He has been active in community service as an elected trustee on the Dillon Elementary School Board, finance chairman of the Beaverhead County Republican Central Committee , youth hunt coordinator for Pheasants Forever, secretary of the Dillon/Butte Montana Landlords Association, and a former church deacon. As a lifelong hunter, he emphasizes protecting citizens and families while fostering opportunities to thrive.
