A. Shane Massey is a Republican politician representing District 25 in the South Carolina Senate, which includes Aiken, Edgefield, Lexington, McCormick, and Saluda Counties. First elected in a 2007 special election, he has served continuously since then and became Senate Majority Leader in 2016. He chairs the Senate Rules Committee and serves on committees including Agriculture and Natural Resources, Education, Judiciary, Labor, Commerce and Industry, and Legislative Oversight.
