Biography
Sean Reid is a Democratic member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 11th Essex district, which includes parts of Lynn and the town of Nahant. Born and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts, he graduated from Lynn Classical High School and earned degrees from North Shore Community College and Amherst College; he is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration and Affairs at Merrimack College. Notable achievements include topping a field of twelve candidates in his first run for the Lynn School Committee and winning the 2024 House election after defeating Lynn City Councilor-at-Large Hong Net in the Democratic primary, following the retirement of Representative Peter Capano; he was unopposed in the general election.
