Biography
Scott Schwab is a Republican serving as the Kansas Secretary of State since 2018, re-elected in 2022. He previously represented Kansas House District 105 from 2002 to 2018, rising to Speaker Pro Tempore, Chairman of the House Elections Committee and Financial Institutions Committee, and Vice Chair of the Taxation and Commerce and Labor Committees. Notable achievements include championing election integrity laws like voter photo ID and proof of citizenship requirements, prioritizing election security, IT upgrades, business filing improvements, and support for county election officials as Secretary of State.
