Scott K. Ryan is a Republican who formerly represented Ohio's 71st House District, covering portions of Licking County, including Newark. He served as a state representative from 2019, winning election with 61.8% of the vote to succeed term-limited Jay Hottinger, and previously held the role of Licking County Treasurer. Prior to politics, he owned a printing company for 27 years. He is married to Shellie Ryan and has two daughters.
