Biography
Scott Miller is a Republican representing District 69 in the Missouri House of Representatives, covering part of St. Charles County. A sixth-generation, lifelong Missouri resident, he was elected on November 5, 2024, and assumed office on January 8, 2025, with his current term ending January 6, 2027. He is a small business owner who founded a home cleaning business in 2013, a husband to Michelle, and father to daughters Joanna and Kathryn. Miller enjoys RV camping and motorcycle riding. His priorities include fostering economic growth, supporting small businesses, and ensuring individual freedoms.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Graduated from Pattonville Senior High School ; earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis; Master’s in Telecommunications Management from Washington University; MBA and MS in Strategic Management from Indiana University.
- Military Service: Served in the United States Army, U.S. Army Reserve, and Missouri National Guard in field artillery and combat engineering.
- Professional Experience: Worked for Boeing after military service; later founded and owns a successful home cleaning business.
- Political Experience: Serves on committees including Commerce, Conservation and Natural Resources, Veterans and Armed Forces, and the Special Committee on Rural Issues. Notable action: In 2025, filed a bill exempting workers under 21 from state minimum wage, small businesses with fewer than 50 employees, and adding rules for wage reductions related to notice and handbook violations.
