Scott Cyrway is a Republican State Senator representing District 16 in Maine, covering Kennebec County towns of Albion, Oakland, Waterville, and Winslow, and Somerset County town of Fairfield. A decorated deputy sheriff from Albion , he serves on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee and Bills in the Second Reading Committee. Notable achievements include the Life Saving and Valor Award , Darryl F. Gates Lifetime Achievement Award from DARE International , American Legion Legislator of the Year , and Christian Civic League Minuteman Award . He currently serves as D.A.R.E.
