Biography
Scott Cepicky
Scott E. Cepicky is a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives representing District 64. Born on July 29, 1966, he is married to Teresa and has two children. Cepicky is a cattle rancher and member of the West Seventh Church of Christ.
Before his political career, Cepicky had notable achievements in professional sports. He played professional baseball for the Chicago White Sox and Minnesota Twins, and professional football for the Cincinnati Bengals and Minnesota Vikings as a punter. His career also includes experience in sales, service, and management positions with Ford and Bridgestone/Firestone, work as a mortgage loan originator, and service as a local dealership assistant service manager in Atlanta, Georgia. He previously served as County Commission Chairman.
Education
Cepicky attended Vianney High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Political Experience
Cepicky currently serves as a State Representative in the Tennessee House of Representatives for District 64. Within the legislature, he holds the position of Chairman of the Education Instruction Subcommittee. His committee assignments include:
