Biography
Senator Scott Bright ** represents **Colorado Senate District 13, which includes Greeley, Brighton, and communities in Weld and Adams Counties such as Evans, LaSalle, Milliken, Gilcrest, Platteville, Fort Lupton, and Henderson. He was elected in November 2024 for the term 2025-2029. A conservative civic and business leader, Bright was born and raised by a single mother until age 9, when she married her husband of over 43 years. He has devoted his life to District 13 communities, owning a third-generation family early childhood education business since 1990, operating 25 licensed child-care and preschool facilities with 250 employees serving over 2,000 Weld County families. Notable achievements include finishing the 2016 Dakar Rally on motorcycle and multiple International Six Days Enduro events representing the USA. He met his wife Cindy in college; they have been married 29 years and have two children: Devaney and Chase . Bright focuses on improving education and childhood development in the legislature.

Education: Graduated from Pacific Union College with a degree in Business Management and Accounting and a minor in Religion.
