Michael Edward "Sarge" Pollock is a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives representing District 51, which includes Marion and Taylor counties. Born on May 27, 1966, he has served since November 29, 2021, after winning a special election with 73.7% of the vote. He works as an insurance risk advisor for Jessie Insurance Agency since 2001, is Baptist, and is involved in community service including the Homeplace on Green River Board, Green River Ministry volunteer work, 5th Region basketball officiating, and induction into the Breckinridge County Hall of Fame. Notable positions include Vice Chair of Banking & Insurance, and membership on committees such as Agriculture, Tourism & Outdoor Recreation, and Government Contract Review. In 2024, he ran unopposed in both the primary and general elections.
