Biography
Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a Republican politician serving as the 47th Governor of Arkansas since January 2023, making her the first woman elected to the state's chief executive office and the first daughter of a former governor to hold the position. Born on August 13, 1982, in Hope, Arkansas, she is the youngest child of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and Janet Huckabee. She previously served as White House Press Secretary under President Donald Trump from July 2017 to June 2019, becoming only the third woman and the first mother to hold that role. Notable achievements include enacting conservative reforms such as the Arkansas LEARNS education overhaul , public safety investments, tax cuts, and the Natural State Initiative to boost the outdoor economy.
