Sara Novak is a Democratic state senator representing Senate District 36 in Montana, based in Anaconda. Born and raised in Butte, Montana, she is 45 years old , lives with her husband Daren and their three children , and works as Special Education Director at Great Divide Education Services. She won election to the Montana Senate in 2024, defeating Jessica Wicks , and has served as senator since 2025.
