Biography
Samuel I. “Sandy” Rosenberg is a longtime Maryland House of Delegates member representing District 41 in Baltimore City since 1983. Born May 18, 1950, in Baltimore, he is Jewish and has dedicated his career to public service, including notable achievements like leading the repeal of Maryland's death penalty, codifying Roe v. Wade into state law, expanding ballot access, extending civil rights protections against discrimination based on sexual orientation, and sponsoring environmental and education initiatives such as farmer pollution management funding and early childhood education grants.
