Biography
Sandy Pickert is a Republican Kansas State Representative for District 88, currently in her second term. Raised on a farm in North Central Kansas , she is a retired nurse with over 50 years of experience, including a career dedicated to healthcare needs in Wichita, where she has lived in the same house for 29 years as a single mother. She retired in 2020 and was first elected in 2022. Notable positions include Vice Chair of the House General Government Budget Committee, and service on the House Water, Child Welfare/Foster Care, and Welfare Reform Committees.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s of Nursing and Master’s in Public Health.
