Sam Garrison is a Republican representing Florida House District 11 . Born November 13, 1976, in Peoria, Illinois, he moved to Florida in 2001 and resides in Fleming Island. Elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2020 and reelected subsequently, with terms through 2028; voted Florida House Speaker for 2026. An attorney and Anglican, he is married to Gayle Simpson Garrison with two daughters, Mary Beth and Jane. Notable achievements include Florida Bar Board Certification in Criminal Trial , Clay County Bar Association President , and service as Assistant State Attorney .
