Biography
Sam Berger is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly representing District 27 in Queens, which includes neighborhoods such as Pomonok, Electchester, Kew Gardens Hills, College Point, Whitestone, and Forest Hills. He is the youngest member of the Assembly, a lifelong resident of the district, an attorney, community advocate, and father of three children. Elected in a 2023 special election to replace Daniel Rosenthal, Berger prioritizes public safety, affordability, education, and securing funding for local initiatives.
