Biography
Ryan Nawrocki is a Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 7A in Baltimore County. Born in 1983 or 1984, he is a lifelong Baltimore County resident, small business owner, husband, and father of six children. A communications professional and entrepreneur, Nawrocki serves on the House Environment and Transportation Committee, including its Energy, Motor Vehicle and Transportation, Non-Energy Utilities, Housing & Real Property, and Land Use & Ethics subcommittees, and is a member of the Maryland Freedom Caucus. Notable achievements include being named to The Daily Record’s VIP List as one of Maryland’s top 40 leaders under 40, and his 2022 election victory over Democratic opponent Lydia X. Z. Brown after winning the Republican primary. He previously ran unsuccessfully for Baltimore County Council in District 6 in 2010 and 2018.

- Education: Attended St. Ursula School , graduated from Loyola Blakefield High School ; B.A. with honors in Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, and Sociology & Anthropology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland ; M.A. in Public Administration from Johns Hopkins University ; graduate of Leadership Baltimore County program.
- Political Experience: Began public service as the youngest appointee in Maryland Governor Bob Ehrlich’s administration at the Maryland Transit Administration; Public Information Officer, Maryland Aviation Administration ; Communications Coordinator, LifeBridge Health ; Communications Director for U.S. House Members including Rep. Andy Harris ; Senior Director of Communications & Marketing, Maryland Transit Administration ; Principal, Red, White and Blue Group ; Partner, Latitude Red ; Owner, Green Relief Health . Sworn into the House of Delegates on January 11, 2023. Active in community organizations including Middle River Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company board, Sons of the American Legion, and Knights of Columbus.
